The Lake Highlands Cross Country season is quickly winding down and the team is in the middle of the UIL State competition series. Teams from around Texas first compete in local District qualifying races, with the top 3 teams moving on to one of 4 Regional races. From the Regional events, the top 3 teams move on to State where a total of 12 teams compete. In addition, 10 individuals have an opportunity to qualify for State if their teams do not advance as one of the top 3.
The team will compete in the Regional meet 11/8 at Vandergriff Park in Arlington . The UIL State meet is 11/15 in Round Rock. Congratulations to all of the team on a successful season and good luck at Regionals!
