The Highlandette officers, Captain Shannon McDaniel, 1st Lieutenant Emily Young, Lieutenant Bethany Stutsman and Lieutenant Lyndsay West, were awarded blue ribbons for their performances at Starmakers Officer Camp, held June 1-4 at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson.

Highlandette Officers Win Top Honors

The officers competed in the advanced-level group in all categories. For their opening night performance, or home routine, they won Superior Performance and the Showmanship Award. In addition, they received blue ribbons in all fields of competition, including compulsory, jazz, field routine and chosen routine.
